Abstract: 

Die unter Federführung von jane Addams und Florence Kelley 1895 publizierten Hull-House Maps & Papers (HMP) (Residents of Hull-House 2007) stellen eine frühe sozialwissenschaftliche Untersuchung dar, in der in grafischer Form Einkommens- und Lebensverhältnisse der Bewohner_innen im Einzugsbereich von Hull House dargestellt (Maps) bzw. in Einzelbeiträgen (Papers) Einzelthemen der Region aufgezeigt werden. Letztere können auch als Anfänge einer rekonstruktiven Forschung in der Sozialen Arbeit verstanden werden.
