Abstract: 
A 3-year-old,female German Shepherd clog was presented at the Clinic of Small Animal Surgery, University of Giessen, with incontinence one week after being hit by a car. A diagnosis of detrusor-sphincter-dyssynergia after trauma of the anteriopelvic part of the urethra was made. Following the start of therapy, micturition was normal after 7 days. The diagnostic procedures and treatment methods are described.
