Abstract
The high resolution infrared spectrum of the linear centro-symmetric molecule (C2N2)-C-13-N-15 (cyanogen) has been measured in the region from 1950 to 2150 cm(-1). The v(3) fundamental band and the difference band v(1)-v(5) were observed in that region. Hot-band transitions arising from the v(5), 2v(5), 3v(5), and v(4) levels were also measured with the v(3) band. The v(3) fundamental band and first hot band for (NCCN)-N-15-C-12-C-13-N-15 were also measured. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
