Abstract
Cr3+ centres in KZnF3 are studied by optically detected magnetic resonance spectroscopy using the circular dichroism of the absorption. The results proof that the (4)A(2)-->T-4(2) internal crystal field transitions of cubic Cr3+ centres are located at 709 nm and that of trigonal Cr3+ centres at 726 nm. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
