Abstract
In carrot plants (Daucus carota L.) the concentration of six cytokinins (isopentenyladenine, isopentenyladenosine, zeatin, zeatinriboside, dihydrozeatin, dihydrozeatinriboside) and of IAA indicate characteristic changes during a 24h day at both the natural and a constant environment. Such variations in phytohormone concentrations were also observed in cultured carrot root explants.
