Abstract
In some countries honey and other bee products, such as royal jelly, are used successfully in medicine, For example, in human medicine they can be a valuable supplement for the treatment of liver and skin diseases and inflammatory conditions of the ear, nose and throat. in veterinary medicine there are reports of their effective use in the treatment of mastitis, inflammation of the distal interphalangeal articulation of sheep and Chagas disease. Because of the biological activity of the large number of its components, propolis is also used for immunostimulation. It is necessary to control the quality of these products in order to guarantee the positive features of honey and other bee products. All advice to prevent their contamination during the whole production process must be followed.
