Abstract:
A cosmid clone containing the complete sheep inhibin subunit beta(B) gene (INHBB) was assigned to sheep and cattle homologous chromosome bands 2q31-q33 by fluorescence in situ hybridization. The assignment of INHBB in sheep excludes another candidate gene as the site of the Fec(B) mutation.
