Abstract:
Permeabilities of tartrazine for different composite membranes were obtained by tracer diffusion experiments. C-14-labeled tartrazine was synthesized from C-14-aniline hemisulfate and tartaric acid. The composite membranes under investigation consisted of cellulose acetate or polyethersulfone supported by polypropylene membrane backings.
