Abstract:
It is shown that the analytic solution of the Migdal recursion related for the scaling transformation generates the renormalized trajectory and the scaling behavior. By using the beta-function that is deduced from our analytic solution we calculate numerically within the Migdal model the universal quantity, i.e., the ratio of the critical temperature to the square root of the string tension in SU(2) and SU(3). The obtained ratios are both about two times larger than the Monte Carlo results for both the SU(2) and SU(3) groups
