Abstract
To gain competitive advantages, the providers of financial services are forced to offer tailor-made portfolios of financial products, that should meet the requirements of their customers. Due to the complexity and diversity of financial products, computer support is needed to achieve this aim. In this paper we present the architecture of ALLFIWIB, a prototypical, distributed and blackboard based system for computer aided financial consulting, and discuss first results.
