Abstract
The beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV) and the beet soil-borne virus (BSBV) differ in their soil temperature requirements. In sugar beet roots, the rate of synthesis of BSBV-2 was higher below 20-degrees-C, while that of BNYVV was higher above 20-degrees-C.
