Abstract
We propose a semimicroscopic description of cluster states in heavy nuclei in terms of the vibron model coupled with the SU(3) shell model. The vibron model describes the relative motion of the clusters, and the shell model handles their internal structure. For the light cluster a real shell scheme, and for the heavy one a pseudo shell model is used. As an example we consider the Pb-210+C-14 clusterization of the Ra-224 nucleus within the dynamical symmetry approach.
