Abstract
By means of e+ pair annihilation radiation the diffusional transport of Na-22 ions through a poly-phenol sulfonate (PPS) membrane was observed continuously using a coincidence counter device. Compared to usual tracer methods the present one has several advantages, e.g. appreciable smaller amount of solution and less total time for an experiment. - For different salt concentrations the apparent self diffusion coefficient of Na-22+ ions was determined.
