Abstract
Starting with the linearized free Schrodinger equation for collective quadrupole coordinates which carries a spin-3/2 degree of freedom, we introduce coordinate- and spin-dependent potentials in order to describe even-odd nuclei with nuclear spin 3/2 and positive parity in their ground state. As examples we choose the nuclei Ir-187,Ir-189,Ir-191. The obtained energy spectra and B(E2) values agree well with the experimental data.
