Abstract
It was demonstrated that different soil tillage methods often influence the population density of ectoparasitic nematodes of the genera Merlinius, Tylenchorhynchus, Helicotylenchus and Paratylenchus. Effects on the vertical distribution of the parasites were obvious. As a rule, the number of the ectoparasites was lowest after no-tillage, owing to their reduction in deeper soil layers.
