Abstract:
We have calculated the pp and pn eta-production cross sections starting from an effective one-boson-exchange model. Unknown coupling constants were fitted to the elastic nucleon-nucleon scattering and to the decay rates of the N* (1535) and the p-pi- --> n-eta reaction. We present both energy-integrated cross sections and energy spectra of eta-mesons.
