Abstract:
By annealing equivalent amounts of AgMnO4 and LiCl single crystals of LiMnO4 3 H2O have been prepared for the first time. The structure determination (four circle diffractometer, MoK-alphaBAR, 486 of 504 I(o)(hkl), R = 3.3%) confirms the space group P6(3)mc; a = 779.4(1), c = 542.7(1)pm, c/a = 0.6963. It is isostructural with LiClO4 .3 H2O.
