Abstract
The amendment of an agar medium with 20 .mu.g a.i. prochloraz/ml completely suppressed the ubiquitous Fusarium spp., which often conceal the slower growing Ceratobasidium cereale. With this selective medium, it was demonstrated that C. cereale is present on wheat stalks at a higher frequency as expected from the use of a general isolation medium.
