Abstract
A scanning electron microscopic study was performed in order to compare the bladders from the terrestrial species U. cf. praelong and U. dichotoma. Differences were found with respect to the morphology of the threshold and the velum. There were also differences between the hairs on the door which are thought to be responsible for triggering the movement of bladder.
