Abstract

Solutions for finite nuclei are considered in the framework of a chirally invariant field theory, which contains only fermionic degrees of freedom. The RMS radii and binding energies of these solutions are within a reasonable range of the experimental values. The density profile shows more structure than experimentally observed.
