Abstract
Using an analytical solution of the non-steady-state internal drainage equation according to GARDNER, the calculation of mean diffusivity according to CRANK is an iterative scheme and the .THETA.(h.sigma.) and D(.THETA.) functions according to VAN GENUCHTEN, the internal drainage of 17 soil profiles of different texture was calculated for three groundwater table depths. The results show the time-dependent discharge and are used for discussing the conventional terms field capacity and moisture equivalent.
