Abstract
The influence of benzimidazole-, kinetin- and water-agar on the storage of leaves and powdery mildew, respectively, as well as the epidemiological parameters incubation period, colony growth and virulence frequency was investigated. In the first 2 weeks of the storage, the chlorophyll content was conserved best by benzimidazole-agar. Statistical tests indicated differences in colony growth between powdery mildew cultivated on different agar media and on primary leaves after 3 as well as after 7 months. Within the virulence spectrum, distinct shifts were observed between agar media. Virulence Va6, frequent in start population, decreased within agar media.
