Abstract
A simple modification of the antiglobulin test (AGT) is described. It consists of 1 additional washing after antiglobulin incubation. This increases the sensitivity of the test and eliminates the prozone phenomenon in the direct as well as the indirect AGT. (The modified method was tested using red blood cells of patients with suspected autoimmune hemolytic anemia.).
