Abstract: 

The structure of the pair field of rotating ²⁴Mg is investigated for various choices of the parameters of the surface delta interaction, which was adopted as the generating two-body force. With realistic force parameters, yielding a pure T = 0 pairing at all angular momenta, the empirical yrast line up to I = 8 is well reproduced by the calculations.
