Abstract
Juvenoids (i.e., 3 insect growth regulators) were tested under laboratory and field conditions to study their effects on the growth of populations of the aphids S. avenae, R. padi and M. persicae. All juvenoids (epophenonane, kinoprene and CGA 13353) reduced the multiplication rate and all 4 tested concentrations (0.001, 0.01, 0.1 and 0.25%) and caused the same symptoms in the treated aphids. Kinoprene (ZE 777) was more effective than epophenonane and CGA 13353.
