The lowering of the Coulomb-barrier for charged particle evaporation from highly excited compound nuclei has been investigated in a folding model. The temperature-dependence of the nuclear densities has been obtained from the Thermal Hartree Fock approximation. It is found that for T≳3MeV mesurable shifts of the peak-energies of evaporation spectra should appear.
