Abstract: 

This work introduces Grid computing, shows its use in eHealth environments and elicits trends towards the integration of custodians in eHealth Grids. It considers security and privacy requirements for the use of Grid computing in eHealth scenarios and discusses the possible integration of different types of data custodians. Finally the paper concludes and gives an outlook on the development and deployment of eHealth Grids in the near future.
