Title of series: Gender and Politics
Radical right movements can be observed in many European countries, and scholars have described the activities not only of extreme-right-wing parties, but also of far-right networks and terror organisations. The introduction outlines existing research in this field, and shows that all academic approaches give not sufficient attention to the importance of gender dynamics in the far right. For this reason, the aim of this book is to bundle existing findings and to examine discourses on gender and the role of women in the far right in different countries. The book will contribute to expanding our knowledge of country-specific commonalities, achieving transparency with regard to international networking and using this knowledge for multinational and comparative research.
