The application possibilities of, and the methodology for the development of various nature conservation control procedures are outlined and systematized for practical application; the goal framework for the future development of landscapes (and parts thereof) is stipulated in nature conservation models. These goals are formulated within the area of responsibility of landscape planning. Controls differentiated according to scale (implementation control, condition control, effect control, expense control) are intended for the review of effective nature conservation measures on various administrative levels (implementation level, condition level, effect level, expense level) and for evaluating these as to the fulfilment of the set goals, as previously stipulated.
