Abstract

Hy.dro.ge.ni.ba.cil'lus. N.L. neut. n. hydrogenum hydrogen; L. masc. n. bacillus a small staff, a wand, a rod, and also a generic name; N.L. masc. n. Hydrogenibacillus hydrogen bacillus, referring to the ability of the organisms to oxidize hydrogen.
