Abstract:
Proponents of raw food diets based on uncooked fresh produce reject processed foods and to a large degree cereals, dairy products and meat. A survey of 572, raw food dieters has shown, however, that theory and practice may diverge. To assess such diets the nutritional behaviour of these persons should be known in great detail; this is the basis for dietary proposals which fan be implemented.
