Abstract:
Due to increasing competition there is a noticeable trend in the market of financial services towards providing tailor-made solutions for customer specific financing and investment problems. In this context, computer support is needed to cope with the complexity and variety of financial services. Therefore, computer support constitutes an important competition factor in this application domain. In this paper we describe the state of the art of computer support in the german financial services field and sketch prospective developments.
